Pam and Bruce Barker owners of The House of 10,000 Frames, Frameworks and Prince Avenue Gallery announced that they will be changing the names of their frame shops to Athens Art and Frame. The new name will promote continuity and unity between the stores.
The family owned business has grown through acquisitions and diversification over the last 38 years which may have caused some confusion as to ownership. The company has served the Athens area since 1970, and will continue with the management that has brought the reliability, diversity and attention to detail for which the company is well known.
The name change to Athens Art and Frame is designed to reduce any confusion associated with different store names and will not have any effect on the specialized merchandise of each store. The primary focus of the company will continue to be custom framing, art and UGA gifts and prints but future growth and product expansion will be easier under one umbrella with the same name – Athens Art and Frame.
